With lender’s treading carefully in the mortgage market and criteria being regularly adapted to fit the market conditions, there has never been a more appropriate time for clients to benefit from our independent expertise especially when looking to remortgage.

Can I reduce my repayments
It is a great time to think about a re-mortgage and with interest rates at an all-time low, the right product could see a reduction in your monthly payments.

What about releasing extra cash
A recent survey by NatWest suggested that one in ten homeowners have re-mortgaged their property as a way of relieving financial anxieties caused by the impact of COVID-19.

In addition, many parents and grandparents are accessing Later Life Lending products to raise funds for their children and grandchildren, helping them with house purchases, home improvements or simply to provide additional financial support during the crisis.

With so many of us working from home, re-mortgaging may also be an option for funding your own home improvements, to make your home more adaptable to your new working life.

Specialist lending
In the current crisis, clients may experience a surprise “credit hiccup” resulting in the lender declining their mortgage application. In addition, the self-employed often face challenges when remortgaging, we have access to lenders who can be helpful in these situations.

Although lenders carry out a credit check on mortgage applications, not all lenders credit score their applicants.  We have lenders where the mortgage assessment is carried out by real people which is especially helpful when “the computer says No!”.
